O warm-up activities pisałam już nie raz. Jak wiecie z poprzednich postów, chętnie używam gier dostępnych w polskich sklepach dostosowując je do potrzeb lekcji w języku angielskim. Dzisiaj kilka słów o logicznych grach słownych dla starszych uczniów.

Lateral Thinking Puzzles, jak i Czarne Historie to gry polegająca na rekonstrukcji wydarzeń. Osoba trzymająca kartę czyta na głos wstęp historii, a jej rozwiązanie zachowuje dla siebie. Zadaniem reszty uczniów jest odgadnięcie co się stało poprzez zadawanie pytań yes/no. UWAGA: należy rozważnie dobrać treść zagadki do wieku uczniów.

Lateral Thinking Puzzles and Black Stories are fiddly, morbid and mysterious riddles for teenagers and adults. The players try to reconstruct the crime by asking, guessing and fiddling about. Be careful with choosing the proper riddle for a certain age group.

Niestety nie mam gry Czarne Historie w wersji angielskiej, ale na różnych forach znajdziecie przykładowe opisy kart. Ja poniżej podaję przykłady z forum ESLprintables.

2. A man was lying in a pool of blood in a telephone box. The windows of the telephone box were broken. (Answer: The man was a fisherman. He had caught a big fish. He went to phone his friend and while he was explaining how LOOOONG the fish was, he broke the glass walls and cut himself and bled to death.)
3. When John made one step back, he died. (he was a window cleaner at a skyscraper. His shift was over, so he looked at the window, combed his hair and made one step back to see better. This was his end.)
